Three Icelandic tourists who visited Alicante city in May did not catch chikungunya fever during their stay in the area, as reported last week by government sources.
The ministry for health in Madrid revealed yesterday that the visitors were wrongly diagnosed by a tropical disease unit in Reykjavik.
