British population on the rise

Torrevieja council has released provisional population figures for the municipality which show that Britons still make up the largest foreign community in the town – and the numbers have gone up over the last three years.

Out of the 87,901 residents counted, there are 5,236 people originally from the UK living in Torrevieja, according to the data from the municipal register (padrón).
