Officials announcing the presentation event for the Symphony of the Seas

MÁLAGA’S port is gearing up for a very big visitor this Tuesday March 27, with Royal Caribbean choosing the city as the venue for the global presentation of the largest cruise ship in the world, the Symphony of the Seas.

The city will be securing its status as a top cruise destination by becoming the ship’s first port of call, after leaving the shipyard where it was constructed in France. The new $1.35 billion Symphony of the Seas can accommodate 6,680 passengers and has 18 decks featuring attractions including waterslides, rock-climbing walls, an ice rink and a Broadway-style theatre.
