A TRADITIONAL water fight in Benimeli has upset the rest of the Marina Alta, especially towns where the supply has been cut due to a shortage.
And some local residents agree that wasting water by throwing buckets of it over each other is ‘tasteless’ and ‘insensitive’ as other towns are struggling to save this commodity where they can to be able to guarantee an on-tap summer supply.
