Torremolinos photography competition is open to professionals and amateurs

PHOTOGRAPHERS  have a chance to shoot for a total of €3,500 in prizes in this year’s Torremolinos photography competition, which for the first time includes a three-day ‘photo marathon’ as one its categories.

The competition, now in its 23rd edition, is open to professional as well as amateur photographers, including minors as long as they have signed parental permission.

The contest includes an open-theme category, with participants allowed to submit up to five photographs, of any style or subject matter, between April 1 and May 29 on the website, where all the rules of the contest are also available.

The second category, titled ‘Torremolinos’, will be held as a ‘photo marathon’, with participants given three days, from May 6 to 8, to shoot local sites.
