Police bust Mijas ISP that streamed football and other pay-TV services


THE National Police have shut down a store in the Calahonda zone of Mijas that was allegedly providing illegal streaming of Premier League games and other subscription TV programming.

Police officials last week said the swoop on the shop in a local commercial centre followed a complaint filed by the Premier League. An investigator from digital platform security firm Irdeto, working in collaboration with the Premier League, told police he had gone into the store, where staff showed him the reception device and services on offer.
