THE priest in a small Albacete village has removed a controversial poster from the side of his church after local protests and widespread mockery. On it, he had listed the mortal sins which, he claimed, can impede the path to salvation.
The poster listed the sins for which the sinner would not be given communion in the church. These included choosing not to attend Mass, living with a partner without being married, and spreading “false news, gossip and slander”.
