Town hall plans to declare the event a 'festival of municipal interest'

MARBELLA town hall has announced that it aims to have the Starlite summer concert series declared a ‘festival of municipal interest’ as way of recognizing the event’s importance and helping to convince its organisers to keep it in the town.

In early August, as the sixth annual edition of the festival was in full swing, the company announced it was in conversations with other municipalities as possible locations for the event in the future, after a series of conflicts with the town hall during and leading up to this year’s edition.
