Farmers hit by the heat

While the unseasonal heat is pleasing beachgoers, agriculture is counting the cost of climate change.

The high temperatures and absence of rainfall mean farmers have not been able to plant cereals in Alicante province.

And this week the mercury is set to go even high, with 30ºC forecasted for Orihuela on Tuesday.
