Benidorm has re-opened the top section of Avenida Mediterráneo, which had been closed to traffic since February 5 to enable renovation works to the pumping station to take place.
Councillor for water, José Ramón González de Zárate said the €1.7 million project was ‘fundamental for taking wastewater to the Sierra Helada treatment plant’.
