A CIGARETTE has given away one of France’s most-wanted criminals at a Halloween party in Málaga. Police said last Friday that they had been able to arrest the 47-year-old French-Algerian who is suspected to have been sheltering in a safe house in the Huelin district of the city.
Hamid Hakkar is considered to be the leader of a gang of hitmen working for drug trafficking organisations. In 2013, he escaped from a jail in France where he was serving 15 years for the fatal shooting of a trafficker, by failing to return after a 10-day pass.
