Drought looms as reservoirs drop below 40% of capacity

AS SUMMER draws to an end, Málaga is facing growing drought concerns, with the province’s reservoirs currently at a combined 38% of capacity.

As of this week the seven reservoirs hold a total of 236 cubic hectares of water, compared to 267 cubic hectares at the same time last year, a drop of nearly 12%.
