Campoamor residents have achieved a bittersweet victory, as the Campoamor Music Festival scheduled for August 3 has been prohibited by Orihuela council.
Town planning councillor Begoña Cuartero denied permission for the festival on July 15, but she refused to announce it officially and the organisers kept on selling tickets and advertising it until this Wednesday night.
