Medical union and Partido Popular demand improvements at Las Lagunas and La Cala health centres

A MEDICAL workers’ union and the Partido Popular have called for improved A&E service in two different health centres in Mijas.

The Sindcato Médico Málaga union’s focus is on the Las Lagunas health centre, where it says the A&E department is hugely overloaded, handling as many as 400 cases a day, which it says is well over the norm for health centres and is practically at the level of “main provincial hospitals”.
