AN END appears to be in sight to a problem that affects thousands of Costa del Sol drivers on a daily basis, after the Ministry of Public Works announced last week that the contract for the remodelling of Benalmádena’s A-7 motorway exit, at kilometre 222 in Arroyo de la Miel, has been awarded.

A statement on the ministry’s website said that the total cost of the contract is €10.12 million, well under the initial €17.9 million budget published when the contract was put out to tender two years ago.
