Villajoyosa town hall has ordered the demolition of a house on Paraíso beach that has been declared a ‘dilapidated building’.
Work to knock down the abandoned property began on Monday morning.
The one-storey building was ‘in a precarious condition in terms of stability and habitability’, according to the council.
