After two years of prohibiting access to Elche beaches to celebrate the night of San Juan (June 23) as a consequence of the pandemic restrictions, this year people will be able to return, as long as they do not light bonfires.
This once-loved tradition has been prohibited due to the environmental problems posed by the bonfires, said mayor Carlos González.
