THE CONTRACT for Torrevieja’s new rubbish collection and street and beach cleaning service has been annulled by the national court for cases regarding public contracts.
It had been drawn up under the previous coalition council as an attempt to improve the deficient service but appeals by unions and the current concessionary company were upheld and now the new council will draw up its own set of conditions.
