‘Aid’ call to safeguard British tourism

The Valencia government wants access to cash promised by the national government to ‘maintain the numbers’ of British tourists visiting the region.

Regional tourism secretary Francesc Colomer voiced fears that Brexit and collapse of Thomas Cook could hit tourism in the region.

At the moment the money is only available for the Canaries and Balearics.
