A FRUIT and vegetable distributor in the Axarquía is one of two Spanish companies which has been indemnified by Germany following the cucumber crisis of 2011.

Frunet Bio of Algarrobo, along with Hortícola Costa of Almería, were falsely accused of supplying infected produce which led to an outbreak of E coli and the deaths of 56 people.
