NATIONAL  Police have arrested three people believed to be members of a gang which followed tourists from Málaga airport in order to steal from their rental cars. They are thought to have committed more than 20 robberies along the entire coastline of the province.

Newly arrived holidaymakers of various nationalities leaving the airport in hire cars are understood to have been followed by the gang members, who waited for them stop en route to their destination. As soon as the car was left parked, the robbers would smash a window and steal valuables from inside the vehicle.
