A BRITISH man found dead at Málaga airport on Friday morning may have been the victim of a sexual attack. National Police said he had been identified as 51-year-old Steven Allford who has been living rough in the area and who is believed to have suffered from bouts of schizophrenia.

A security guard found his body lying face down on a bench in a garden area 80 metres from the Renfe train station at the airport. He had one hand and one leg tied to the bench with cable ties, and his trousers were pulled down, leading police to suspect an assault, although it is reported there were no external signs of violence.
