Four people were rescued by helicopter after getting into difficulties at an elevation of 3,000 metres in the Sierra Nevada on Saturday. They were taken to hospital in Granada suffering from leg and knee injuries, as well as altitude sickness. The four were amongst a group of walkers who were on the Pico del Cuervo Güéjar Sierra .
