A vet from Segovia has been convicted of dumping his own injured dog in a container intended for the disposal of dead pigs. He was handed a suspended sentence, barred from practicing for 18 months and ordered to pay the €859 cost of the dog’s recovery and rehabilitation. The local Animal Defence Association has found a new home for the pet.
