Three fire-fighters based in Nerja were injured when their vehicle over-turned on an emergency call-out last Friday. They were answering a call to attend a fire which gutted a car in the A-7 tunnel near Almuñécar when the incident occurred on a roundabout in Maro. The three were treated for bruising at Vélez-Málaga Hospital while Almuñécar’s fire crew dealt with the blaze.
