The Andalucían Association of Geographers is supporting a proposal to turn the former Repsol site in Málaga into an “urban forest.” The idea to create a “Hyde Park for Málaga” on the 177,000 square metre plot has collected over 19,000 signatures at change.org. The Association says 50 years of development has left Málaga with a “significant” lack of open public spaces.
