A school party of around 25 eight- and nine-year-olds had a lucky escape on Friday morning when walking through the city centre Parque de Málaga. A tall palm tree, destabilised by strong winds, crashed down onto a footpath blocking their way. Although everyone nearby got a fright, no-one was injured in the incident.
