Alhaurín de la Torre town hall has apologised for the traffic difficulties on Saturday afternoon during the Vuelta a Andalucía cycling race time trial that was held in the town. The detours and traffic jams had sparked complaints on social networks. However, the town hall said it had forewarned of the detours, and that the inconvenience was offset by the €400,000 economic impact of the event in the town.
