A woman who in 2015 was issued a €500 fine for riding her mobility scooter the wrong way down a small one-way street in Benahavís because the pavement was too narrow, and who later had the fine reduced to €200 on appeal, has now filed a lawsuit. Her son says that, despite the reduced fine, the ticket should never have been issued and that they aim to fight it in court.
