Marbella town hall says it is to provide a discount of up to 95% on ‘plusvalía’ capital gains tax in the case of homes inherited from a deceased parent and that are also the primary residence of the heir. The discount will be 95% for homes with a rateable value under €125,000; 50% for those between €125,000 and €200,000; and 20% if between €200,000 and €300,000.
