The Guardia Civil says a 60-year-old German national resident in Torrox is suspected of being the hit-and-run driver who left a cyclist seriously injured (CDSN February 11). The bike rider fell down a ten metre incline after colliding with a van and was hospitalised but is reported to be recovering. The driver handed himself in to police last week.
