Mijas town hall has been forced to pay back to the Diputación de Málaga a €25,000 subsidy the provincial government had provided for last year’s Luna Mora festival in the town. Local officials say the money had to be returned because the Culture Department of the town hall under the previous Partido Popular administration failed to properly document the contracting for the event.
