Sturgeon Rejected

Spain’s secretary of state for the European Union, Jorge Toledo, has rejected plans announced by Nicola Sturgeon, Scotland’s first minister, for a separate Brexit deal for Scotland. Toledo insisted: “There is only one negotiator: the UK government.” Sturgeon last week published a 50-page document entitled, “Scotland’s place in Europe,” in which she called for a “soft Brexit.”
