Plans to create a shopping centre on the site of the Camping Fuengirola campground, a 21,000-square-metre plot between Mijas and Fuengirola, are moving forward, with the necessary planning changes to be brought to Mijas council next month. A similar process will then be undertaken in Fuengirola. Officials say the project will see a €10 million private investment.
