Police say they have broken up a gang allegedly responsible for a series of break-in roberies at shops along the Axarquía coast. The targets were Chinese-owned stores from where the contents of the tills were stolen. An investigation which opened last October established that the gang, who have numerous police records, spent €2,600 to rent vehicles in false names for use in the attacks.
