“Pure luck” prevented a fire on the façade of Málaga’s Carrefour Alamada supermarket extending to the interior of the complex on Sunday. A fire crew returning from another incident was diverted and quickly controlled the outbreak with only a couple of shop units affected by smoke. One light injury was reported and an investigation into the cause is underway.
