A 34-year-old Qatari man has been arrested in Marbella for allegedly passing himself off as a Mexican shaman, or spiritual healer, in order to scam €35,000 from a local woman. He convinced her that to cure her ills and those of her family, she needed to provide gifts and cash to another person he knew who was also going through difficult times. Police say the other person in fact did not exist.
