A Cómpeta woman gave birth to her fifth child at the side of the road on Sunday morning. Her husband decided to drive her to hospital himself after discovering an ambulance could not attend as it was out on an emergency. However, on reaching Sayalonga, it was clear the new arrival was prepared to wait no longer so he stopped and delivered the infant himself.
