The provincial court has upheld the conviction of a man and woman who were sentenced to a year in prison for stealing numerous pieces of furniture and other items from a furnished apartment they had rented in Mijas. In the 2013 incident the couple took three bedroom sets plus a variety of other furniture, two TVs, a stereo, a refrigerator, a washing machine and other items.
