A Spanish man was arrested by National Police in Estepona for an alleged holiday rental scam last week that conned 10 people out of a total €7,500. The police began an investigation following complaints from victims, and found that the man advertised apartments online. He would take deposits without allowing viewings, but when the victims went for their stay, he would claim that it was still occupied and refunds were never issued.
