Thousands of National Police and Guardia Civil officers have marched through Málaga demanding wage parity with members of Cataluña’s regional force. Under the slogan, “Equal work, equal pay,” an estimated 20,000 workers and their families from across Andalucía participated as part of a national demonstration in major cities. The protest was a rejection of the preliminary pay deal reached between unions and the Interior Ministry.
