Three armed robbers who broke into a property in Moraleda de Zafayona west of Granada were chased by police along the A-92 on Sunday morning. They continued through the city to Maracena before they were stopped by Guardia Civil officers in bullet-proof vests brandishing submachine guns. The arrests caused alarm locally in the wake of last week’s terrorist activity in Spain.
