Three people have been arrested for illegally hunting deer near Antequera. The regional environment department said they were detained by rangers “in fraganti” in separate incidents recently. They had shot a total of five deer in protected areas, some of which, after being confirmed as being suitable for human consumption, were donated to social sevices in the town.
