Plans to create a pet cemetery are expected to be debated at today’s town council meeting in Málaga. A proposal suggests the municipal funeral director Parcemesa should be asked to develop a project in collaboration with animal welfare groups. The province of Málaga has 350,000 pet animals registered, the largest total in Andalucía, of which some 12,500 die every year.
