Mijas town hall says it has detected a need for 3,000 new parking spaces in the Las Lagunas zone between now and 2020, and has so far identified 10 sites throughout the district for the creation of future car parks. The total number to be created will depend on budget and other factors, but plans for the initial projects will be drawn up next year for work to start in 2018.
