The old N340 road along Fuengirola’s coastline, now known as the Avenida de Carvajal, is being reduced to one lane of traffic in the directions of both Málaga and Marbella, as part of a town hall initiative to bring more than 430 new car-parking spaces to Carvajal. The month-long construction works will also see new trees planted, pavements widened and more pedestrian crossings added in the area.
