There are currently no plans to extend the Málaga-Álora Cercanías train line to El Chorro to boost public transport options for visitors to the Caminito del Rey cliff-side walkway, said the government in response to a parliamentary question. It said the stop is currently served by two trains on the Málaga-Ronda line and three trains on the Málaga-Sevilla line.
