The regional education department has given the go-ahead for the development of plans for a new school in Rincón de la Victoria. A €312,000 contract has been award to architects to undertake preparatory work for the senior school in Torre de Benagalbón which will take in 620 pupils. Parents and students have been demanding a new school in the municipality for many years.
