The Junta de Andalucía is to invest €1.64 million in the creation of 197 new jobs in Benalmádena. The Junta’s employment minister José Sánchez Maldonado met with the town’s mayor Victor Navas last week to discuss projects that will create the positions, mainly in the culture, new technologies and social services sectors. 118 unemployed under 30’s will be hired through the Junta’s Emple@Joven programme, and 79 over 30’s through the Emple@30+ scheme.
