Alhaurín de la Torre town hall has launched work on extending its network of firebreaks between residential areas and adjacent forested zones. The latest work includes the clearing of a 30-metre wide strip of land along 640 metres of the perimeter of the Cortijos del Sol urbanisation, and another stretch along calles Casabermeja and Alozaina in Pinos de Alhaurín.
